Ulrich Kiebler, Chairman of the Management Board of DCT DELTA AG, is leaving the company at the end of his contractual term to work on the field of alternative energy generation. Following the successful strategic realignment of the company from 2013 to 2024, Ulrich Kiebler will hand over the reins to Volker Braun after 11 years on 30 June 2024.
 
After graduating from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a degree in communications engineering, Volker Braun worked at ALCATEL-LUCENT for almost 20 years in project management for international mobile communications projects and in sales. He was then responsible for the network rollout business in Germany at CTDI - a global full-service engineering, repair and logistics company - most recently as Vice President. From 2021 to 2024, Volker Braun was CEO of the German subsidiary of a French group of companies and was responsible for the nationwide planning and construction of fibre optic networks.
 
With his many years of management experience and expertise in the field of fibre optic and mobile communications infrastructures, Volker Braun intends to continue the company's strategy and further expand the DELTA Electronics brand as an attractive partner in the international telecommunications industry.
 
Peter Joos, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DCT DELTA AG, thanks Ulrich Kiebler for his pioneering work and sees the appointment of Volker Braun as a continuation of the company's strategy to further establish DCT DELTA AG as a leading supplier to European telecommunications network operators.
 
DELTA Electronics has developed complex system solutions (Remote-PHY, DOCSIS 4.0 and XGS-PON) across the entire network structure (from the headend to the end customer) in recent years and enjoys an excellent reputation in the international customer environment.
